I agree with Sujomi... the everyday things. What a wonderful photo.
Re: the sunflower table.... we painted the entire table base red, there was no top, so my husband created a round plywood base for my mom to make the mosaic tabletop. When she visits in mid-May, she'll bring the tabletop with her, and voila! we'll have a patio table. :-) On the cheap, too, which makes it even better.
I got Trixie when my dal was 11 yrs old; he tolerated her pretty well, and even played with her sometimes, until he got sick about 6 mths later. Then he wasn't so tolerant. A low grimacing growl from him and she knew not to mess with him. :) So hopefully your new one will pick up on the signs and know when NOT to bother Freckles!
Thanks for all of your comments - they are TRULY appreciated, every single one of them.
Oz Girl, thanks also for the tip about the dogs - I went into this knowing full well that Freckles may not like her, at least for the first year or so. Once she gets through the biting/nipping stage, we will try having her close to him....
I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years.
I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better!
A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

I love Applebees! I think that this shot is what 365 is about. The everyday, simple things that we may forget if we don't capture them. I like it Dot!
