This swing was once the center of activity in our backyard - it now stands idle all of the time. We hope to find a new home for this swingset soon.....
Dot...if you have to see it go, I have to suggest selling it on craigslist. It will be snatched up immediately, especially with it being Amish made. I know what you're saying, though. I'll be very sad when my kids are too old for swings.
I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years.
I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better!
A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

Great shot! Very cool processing on it.
I like swings. I still swing on them when I can.
This looks as if it is very attractive in its own right.

Rather sad that its use is over, huh? But what a wonderful photo you captured here, I love it.
Beautiful photo, Dot!!
Yes, Oz Girl, it is sad for me...... There was so much joy when we purchased this swingset many years ago from an Amish gentleman.
Memorable childhood memories. :)

Nice shot! I was actually trying to get a picture of our play set last week for the same reason, but mine didn't turn out nearly so nice!
fantastic shot and colours!!
