I don't know what variety of bird this is but I saw it on my sister's bird feeder and thought it'd make a good subject.

- I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years. I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better! A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

Wow, Dot, what an awesome shot. Beautiful bird. Glad everyone else knows their birds, haha. Oh, and yes, I have posted several pics on my photo blog today... my analness was making me put one up for every day I missed while in Arizona. Dumb I know, but now I'm all caught up. And I also posted a SkyWatch today, AND my X challenge for the Menagerie blog groupies. :-)
