Any editing whizzes out there who can tell/show me how to make this into a lovely photo of my boy smiling sweetly as I point my camera in his direction?? I'll take any and all suggestions!
This was to be a perfect capture of my son at brunch on Easter morning but obviously you can see he ruined the moment, and then I shot a blurry picture.
Now, does everybody see what I'm up against???

To answer your question from my photo today, yes the mushrooms are edible. I forgot what he calls them. I will ask him tomorrow and let you know. I will also have to find a pic I took a few years ago. He found some mushrooms as big as a coke can....
Nope. It couldn't be better. It's like a painting. Smiles are lovely but constant smiles are boring.
Sorry you couldn't get through to PICTURES JUST PICTURES the other day. I think it was because of a mistake I made when preparing the following day's post. It was 'Cat's Eyes'. I wrote the 'C', pressed the wrong button and it published itself - just that! 'C'! I deleted the post straight away but this leaves an http on the internet which one can't do anything about. At least, I don't think so. I guess you got the link to the (by then) non-existant post. I do apologise.
Seriously, this photo of your son is a lovely and characterful one. And if you think it is an odd expression . . . well, I think many of us could produce much worse ones from the boys in our various families. See a camera and they go kind of . . . hmm!

Kids. Although this really isn't a bad photo... now my son, who is 27 mind you, loves to ruin, I mean really RUIN, just about every photo I take of him. He just can't help making goofy faces. Sigh.

I like it! It shows his personality - and that he has great self-confidence to be comfortable enough to make faces to be captured like that! Gotta love those goofy kids. ;)

It does show his personality and it's a fun photo! My kids act the same way when I try to take a picture.

Didn't you read our tutorial on April 1st. Get that liquify tool, give him a big ole goofy smile. He will cooperate from then on...I promise! :)

Actually, this looks just like a painting. I thought it was a photo of a painting when I first saw it and I thought, wow, that's posh, having portraits of your family!
