I was hoping the third egg would hatch too, but I think the more time that passes it probably won't. When we first found the nest it had four eggs in it and then one was gone...might be a young robin pair.
Cool! I've always wanted to get some of those solar lights, but I'm afraid they'll quit working after a few days. Maybe I'll give it a try at some point. Now that we have a fence, it would be nice to have some lighting.
My dh purchased these lights about a week and a half ago for $2.50 at Ace Hardware and they're still working, Andrea! I love them. When I look out my front window, it just gives our property a cozy look. Go for it. At a cheap price, if they quit you won't be out much money.
I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years.
I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better!
A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.
