My Elusive Sunset, Day 242
I've just returned from a week long vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Most evenings were spent with me running from window to window to see if there would actually be photograph-worthy sunset that evening and also if there was a place that I could go to get an unobstructed view of that sunset. My last night there provided me with both a spectacular show and a wonderful place from which to photograph it.

wow, that is fantastic. and what a great memory from your vacation to look at forever.
This has a special atmosphere!
wonderful sunset and atmosphere! love the beautiful colors and the whole scene
Beautiful! I did the same thing at home last night! I could see the colors were beautiful, but we have a line of trees that block the westerly view. I had to hope in the car and go across the street to a parking lot to get a decent shot! The things we do for that photo op!
Beautiful!
Simply gorgeous! You need to frame this one!
BEAUTIFUL!!
Great shot, Dot.
