There Is A Story Behind This, Day 243
I am posting three pics tonight. It will help make up for all of the lost days I have had over the past couple of weeks. I will post the story on my regular blog but I wanted to share these happy photos I took today of a visitor that came but would not leave....

how cute! i have one that hangs out in my yard and here lately he lets us get really close to him without it startling or scaring him. i haven't tried touching him yet!
He is so cute! Great shots!
Too cute! He landed in the right yard!
Lovely story told with photos.
When the kids were younger, we raised several squirrels after some young boys had shot their mother with a BB gun. Two of the three died from chewing on plastic (guess they ingested it). But the one remaining was preserved because he had teeth that were crooked. Apparently he wasn't able to chew the plastic. He had the run of the house, generally sleeping with one of our sons. We kept him for a year, then the next year when on vacation, we took him back to where we found him and turned him loose. He came into the cabin a few times like he was just checking to make certain we were still there. We stayed several days and saw him several times making friends. When we left, we knew he would survive. As he had the tip of his tell torn off, we could identify him. The following year, we came back and spied him with a family.
What a sweet little guy. I'll have to go read the story.
He is very cute and she is very brave!!!
Have a great day !
