And this was his reward - his Kong stuffed with peanut butter and kibble. Here's hoping for a another good year ahead for my boy, Freckles....

My Furry Child is 12 Today
My older beagle turned 12 today. It is getting hard to remember what it was like when he had energy and didn't sleep 23 1/2 hours out of every day. I did manage to get him motivated to do a trick or two.
Okay, so maybe only one trick on his birthday - begging, which is at the top of his list for things he likes to do.
This was his look when I told him he had to wear that birthday hat - not at all thrilled.
He then relented and agreed to the hat.

Well, happy birthday to the handsome fella!! He looks mighty cute in the hat! LOL I would never get my new puppy to wear one... he'd eat that in a mere second! Oh boy, he'd eat anything! haha... these are wonderful photos!
