Pollinating - all in a day's work. This furry little guy was fun to watch but not so easy to capture in photo - I could use Sara's G's macro lens!!!

- I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years. I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better! A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

This is a great macro snap Dot. Glad you got the shot you did. He must be fresh from the hive as he's not covered with pollen, nor are his "pouches" full.
I like it that he is on top and we get a very good shot without anything else intruding on the portrait of him. Great colors too.
I don't know what kind of a lens you used to get this little busy bee, but it certainly did the trick! Great shot for day 203!

You did a great job. I tried taking a photo of a bee the other day, and didn't do near as well as you did here. It's a tough job without a macro lens (and 50mm just don't cut it!)
