Despite the clutter of cars and trees on my street, I still manage to capture some nice skies every now and then.

- I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years. I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better! A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

This is a really powerful shot with the tree branches against the sky - like the tree is embracing the sunset.
(If you hadn't mentioned the cars I wouldn't have noticed them, I was so struck by the tree and the sunset colours!)
Dot, this is a beautiful sunset photo! The colors are gorgeous and I love the sillouette of the trees and branches! I know what you mean about being tired....I'm exhausted from Thanksgiving and Im finally replying to comments from skywatch friday. :)
