- I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years. I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better! A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

mmmm...those wonderful looking sugar cookies. they remind me of king's cake! have you had that before? anyway, to answer your question about my photo, i was not on the stage, that photo was an accident- i was trying to record from the audience and i pressed the button and it snapped a picture...i didn't even see what settings it was on...it's the best picture of the weekend, and an accident. lol!

These are all great pictures. The cookie looks good and the look on the dogs face is priceless. The hydrangea has a surprising amount of color yet!
