- I left a career as an insurance underwriter back in 1993 to stay at home with my kids and I have never once looked back. I've been fortunate to find a job that I can do from home and have done so for the last 16 years. I am blessed with a great husband and two wonderful kids. Life doesn't get any better than that...well, throw in a beagle or two and it is a smidge better! A love of our faith is #1 in our home and always will be.

Dot thanks for stopping by my blog and also for adding me to your list! I added you to mine also. :) That's a cute photo of your kid's mascot...the colors are so vibrant! What kind of camera do you have?
As for the shutter speeds...I'm still learning and playing around with it myself and hope to someday have it all figured out. lol Trial and error you know? I am trying to list the settings I use with my photos, so that I can have a reference to look back on and hopefully learn what settings work best for certain lighting situations and scenes, etc. There's so much to learn and so much to remember, but I'm having fun doing it. :)
we played a team called the Lions last night, we are the Tigers..i thought that it was funny to hear the Lions vs. Tigers...lol. anywho, the Lions won! the colors are great in this photo.
